Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find a Subaru Legacy and a Mazda 3I that had collided with significant force, causing heavy damage to both vehicles. The three individuals in the Subaru were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Mazda’s occupants were also taken to a local hospital. Tragically, Luis Cisneros Fletes, the third occupant of the Mazda and an 18-year-old resident of Waterbury, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead this morning.
